Boating and Fishing in Serifos
In Serifos there are some of the most beautiful beaches of Cyclades. Many of them have road access. To get to some of the others you must follow picturesque passable or stony paths while in some of them you can get only by boat. In general, the coasts of Serifos are beautiful and it is worth visiting them. If you don’t have your own boat, ask in Livadi if you can rent one.
You can combine boating with fishing.
Some nice places for underwater fishing are the bay of Koutalas on the southwestern part of the island and the cape of Spathi on the southern part of the island. Another very nice fishing spot is the beach of Avessalos, and also the small island Vous on the south, which is ideal both for underwater fishing and for fishing over the sea surface. You can always ask the locals, who will be glad to inform you on the best fisheries and on the dangers during boating.
